Picadillo (“Peek-a-dee-yo”) is a dish found in many Latin American countries and is prepared using ground beef and tomatoes, with additional vegetables and spices that vary by region.
Our Californian-Mexican version is plant based and gluten free, using textured vegetable protein, and our own blend of rich spices.
With a medium spice level, Picadillo is a hearty addition to nachos, enchiladas or burritos.
Delicious in non-Mexican dishes as well, such as with pasta, rice or even on toast.
