Confit de Canard or Confit of Duck is a specialty of Gascony, France. Confit is a time-honored method of preserving meat by salting it and cooking it slowly in its own fat. The beauty of the dish is that all the hard work is done for you, all you have to do is to heat it and enjoy! There are 4-5 duck legs in this Rougie tin.
Simply wipe-off the luscious duck fat ( use to fry potatoes ) and fry these legs to crisp them up. Serve with a simple salad and saute'd potatoes.
