Shipping & Returns

By placing your order with Global Foods Direct, you agree to follow the terms and conditions of carriage as stated below.

1. Shipping Costs ( subject to change. email if in doubt )

- New Zealand orders up to 1.5 kg - NZD$8.50

- New Zealand orders up to 3 kg – NZD$11.50

- New Zealand orders up to 5 kg – NZD$13.00

- New Zealand orders over 5 kg - please email for quote

 

2. Processing Times

We aim to have parcels ready for dispatch within 3-4 business days.

 

3. Delivery Times

New Zealand (non-rural)

1-3 business days

New Zealand (rural)

2-4 business days

 

 

4. Compensation Policy

We will not compensate for damaged items if you accept the parcel from the courier, as by accepting the parcel, you agree that it has arrived in good condition. Always open the parcel and check the goods in the presence of the driver.

 

5. Missing Parcels

If you have not received your parcel within the delivery time frame specified above, you must contact us immediately via globalfoodsdirect@gmail.com

 

Please note that all claims outside of 15 days from initial dispatch will not be considered.

 

6. Return & Refund Policy

All returns must be received by us within 15days of initial dispatch. If we have sent you an incorrect item, we will send you the correct item along with a courier ticket for return.

 

If your parcel has been returned to us due to an incorrect address or inability to collect it from the post office, we will provide you a refund excluding shipping and handling fee. We are not responsible for any additional freight costs incurred.

 

Once your return has been received, a credit or refund will be issued within 30 days and an e-mail confirmation will be sent.

 

Non Returnable and Refundable Products:

- All products listed as clearance items (with a short product expiry).

- A product with a clear statement displayed on its page as non refundable for your health and safety protection.

- Lost products caused by improper delivery due to incorrect addresses and postcodes provided by the customer. Our address labels are automatic and any error in the input of delivery address is the customer's responsibility.

- Prohibited items that are detained or confiscated at your own customs. Please check your country's customs and duty laws before purchasing.

 

Stock Unavailable:

In the case you place an order for product that subsequently becomes unavailable or there is a delay in delivery, we will contact you via email and phone within 24-48 hours to advise you of the situation and the options available to you. You may wait until the product is available or replace the product with a substitute product (the order total will be confirmed and adjusted), unless otherwise instructed.

 

In other case where you would like to purchase a clearly stated the out of stock situation product, you may email us and we will contact you immediately once it becomes available again.
